Helena is focused on the development and growth of organizations and the people that make up those organizations. Her career of over 25 years includes senior- and executive-level positions in Strategic Planning, Human Resources and Learning & Development in organizations such as Tennessee Valley Authority, Knox County Government (Knoxville, Tennessee), Rockwell-Collins, Kinze Manufacturing and JET Engineering. With each of these organizations, Helena facilitated strategic planning processes throughout the organization and also provided extensive team and leader training.
With this breadth of experience, Helena provides training and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies on a national and international level as well as to many small and middle-sized companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, financial, non-profit, educational, technical, and local government. Her client portfolio includes AT&T, Sprint, Dell, Motorola, Honeywell, Ford Motor Company, The Hartford, Apache Hose, John Deere, The Arc of Johnson County, CIVCO, Alliant Energy and Henderson Manufacturing. She has been instrumental to several organizations in leading their successful company-wide transformation efforts to a high-performing culture.
For every project, Helena brings not only her vast experience but also her positive attitude, enthusiasm and total commitment to ensure a successful experience for her customers with tangible results. She works closely with her clients to fully understand what they want to accomplish then customizes a solution to ensure the desired results are achieved. Helena’s sessions are high-energy, interactive and engaging to ensure participation, learning and growth with measurable results.
Helena is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and she studied Organizational Development at Pepperdine University. She is a certified DiSC trainer and a long-standing member of the Association for Talent Development, serving in several Board positions including President of the Hawkeye Chapter in 2017.
