Mobile Test Bench
The Problem
A leading manufacturer of precision seals needed a complete testing solution that eliminated human error in the testing process for continuous shop floor use across its product line.
The Outcome
JET designed, manufactured and deployed a mobile testing solution that increased speed and accuracy to ultimately improve the client’s bottom line. The single-source supply, turnkey solution utilized NI hardware with a PC-based interface to precisely measure air pressure and flow to gauge seal quality. The intuitive operator interface includes a bar code scanner for quick acquisition of test parameters and automatic test data logging.

Features included bar code scanner for traceability, self-calibration for rapid changeover, automatic data acquisition and retention, a simple Go/No Go interface, ruggedized construction for shop floor use, as well as precise control and measurement of air pressure and flow rate.
